Illusion of Stars includes content that may be upsetting to some readers. This includes discussion of parental infidelity, discussion of parental abandonment, crass jokes, hazing, catcalling, on-page death of a parent, on-page death of a friend, a very brief mention of sibling death, a very brief suggestion that a man might be raped (no rape occurs), self-harm ideation (non-suicidal), on-page self-harm (non-suicidal), brief mentions of torture, strong language (including the use of f*ck), poisoning, stereotypical depictions of a mad king, and themes of grief.

SEXUAL CONTENT FOR ILLUSION OF STARS
This story is fade to black, meaning there is no on-page sex. There is, however, foreplay, which includes:

Chapter 32: The male main character accidentally becomes aroused while sharing a horse with the female main character. It is discussed in a non-sexual way. ("Well this is awkward.")
Chapter 35: A very brief mention of grinding while both characters are fully clothed. The male main character nips the female main character’s ear and gives her a hickey on her neck.

Chapter 36: The male main character gives the female main character several more hickeys on her neck and shoulders. The male main character untucks the female main character’s shirt and plays with the waistband of her skirt. The female main character wonders, briefly, if the male main character may touch her lower. She wants him to do this. He does not touch her lower.

Chapter 40: Heated kissing and biting on the neck, shoulders, and mouth. The male main character says the female main character’s body is very responsive to him, and he places a hickey on or near the female main character’s breast. The exact location is not described. The act of placing the hickey (e.g. sucking on skin) is described. The female main character thinks that she would like to grind on the male main character, but is unable to do so. The chapter ends with the implication sex occurred. The characters are in underwear for most of the scene and are never fully naked, although there is a brief reference to the female main character’s breasts being exposed.

Chapter 42: The couple is shown naked in bed and cuddling. The male main character traces lazy circles on the female main character’s ribs. They kiss and there is the implication sex occurred again.
